So what exactly is a scaled lightsaber?

Many of our customers have asked what a scaled replica lightsaber is.  Does it have lights or sounds, can you fight with them, and how big are they?  So here's your answer:

Here is a Qui-Gon Jinn Collector's Edition lightsaber next to the Qui-Gon Jinn scaled replica lightsaber.  You can immediately see a big difference.  The Collector's Edition lightsaber is the exact size of the hero prop used in the movies, so it's an accurate scale of the lightsaber.  The Scaled lightsaber is an exact .45 scale of the Collector's Edition lightsaber.  Unlike the Force FX lightsabers, neither of them has any lights or sounds or even a blade.  They are not to fight with in any way.  The CE lightsaber can be worn as a hero prop on a costume or put on a handsome table top display.  The scaled lightsaber could only be used as a hero prop for a toddler as it's physically too small to use otherwise.  It too comes with a handsome table top display and looks really nice in a collection.
