So management and our tech have finished reviewing all of the designs and unfortunately none of them quite fit what we were looking for. We did receive some very interesting submissions, unfortunately we don't have the tooling to make any of these designs happen right now, though we're hoping to be able to expand in the future. Below are just a few of the designs that were submitted.
As such, we're going to re-open submissions for another attempt. Below are a couple of designs that management and our tech have worked out that can be done (and will be at that).
We're looking for some new designs. As such, we're holding a contest. Design a saber using the rules listed below and then we'll have everyone vote on the designs. The top designs will be created in a limited run and the winners of the contest will receive a free copy of their saber. Here are the rules:
Design ideas will be reviewed by our tech to ensure that they can be done. Management will choose from the offerings and will make several available to vote on. The top hilt styles will be offered for a limited time and winning designers will receive a free copy of their hilt with LED and blade (no sound at this time). The submission cut-off will be March 14th, after which time the sabers will be reviewed once again and the sabers that can be done will go up for voting.
Send your design to email@example.com. It must be at least two sides with rough dimensions and needs to be in .jpg format. Some dimensions may change based on if the tech can make it happen or not. Please include your first name and any pen-name you would like us to post for the competition plus your email address. The winners will be contacted for details regarding their winnings.
We're about a month away from Halloween. Now is the best time to get your lightsaber. Unfortunately we only have the Kylo Ren and Yoda FX's as Hasbro has failed to keep up with manufacturing.
The Kylo Ren helmet is also a really nice piece for Halloween as it is a full helmet and not just a mask.
